What Is A Genocide?

I think Genocide as something to do with systematic destruction, in whole part , of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. A Genocide is also violence in some what, I think it happens because of the stuff that happened with the holocaust or the economy crisis and the violence in the world has to do with racial, drugs.
